I have the tendency to spill something on almost all of my drawings, and when that happens I "make it a character," a term my mom coined after I spilled about half an ink pot on a drawing. Either embrace it or curl up and die.

Up now at Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum is the show "Call for Entries 2010," of which I am a solid 1/6. Below are some installation views of the pieces I created for the show. The title is "Avenging Mother and Supplicants."

From Friday 6pm to Saturday 6pm (actually I left at 4:30) I participated in Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum's 24-hour drawing marathon: From Dusk 'til Drawn. I busted out 5 drawings during the event, sold 1 (no picture of that one), and hung out with the Drawing Ladies (I think we came up with a more clever title, but I forgot it in the ensuing delirium). Here are pictures from the event:
